On that first Easter, only three women showed up to pay their respects and properly prepare Jesus’ body after his death. They were shocked, amazed, and confused when they got there, found the tomb open and two angels standing near the entry way of the tomb. The angels said, “HE IS NOT HERE! HE IS RISEN! WHY DO YOU LOOK FOR THE LIVING AMONG THE DEAD?”
This Easter, April 4, 2021, 2.4 billion Christians around the world will celebrate Christ’s Resurrection. With Christ’s victory over death we are reminded of the words of Paul, “WHERE O DEATH, IS YOUR VICOTRY! WHERE O DEATH, IS YOUR STING! BUT THANKS BE TO GOD WHO GIVES US THE VICOTRY THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST!”
We have been living under fear and oppression by the Evil One for over a year. It is time for us to throw off the “shackles” that the Evil One has placed upon us. The Evil One has tried to do his best to destroy the CHURCH, to destroy our FAITH. BUT WE ARE STILL HERE.
As Paul said, “NOTHING CAN SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD WHICH COMES TO US THROUGH CHRIST JESUS!”
Easter is the most important of all days. It is the only day that gives us hope; that gives us comfort; that gives us peace. It is time for us to break free from Satan’s tyranny.
April 4, put on your mask and come and worship Christ’s victory. And we know that those who have died with Christ will certainly rise with Christ. His victory is our victory. See you Sunday, April 4, at 8:00 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. to CELEBRATE!
