“I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will strike your head and you will strike his heal.”
No sooner had Adam and Eve disobeyed God than God acted. The perfection of creation was destroyed by man’s disobedience to God. All manner of evil was unleashed on creation, including death. Not just physical death but spiritual death that would mean the separation of humans from God for all of eternity. But before the dust settled God acted. Evil will not have the last word, God will have the last word and that word is GRACE. God’s GRACE will forgive our sin, will save us from eternal separation for God, and will give us life eternal . God will send one, a champion, who will fight for us. He will give up his life for us and once having made the sacrifice God will raise that champion to a new life and will give all of us Forgiveness, Salvation, and Eternal Life. That champion is Jesus Christ. Amen.
